HOMETOWN FEEL.

WORK HARD. HAVE MORE FUN.

That's the approach behind Hometown Signs. Here's a little about the people running it and why relationships matter more than sales pitches.

Hometown Signs started with a simple idea. Build something of our own, right here at home.

Drew spent 15 years learning the sign business inside and out, from design and production to installation and client relationships, all without ever leaving Rock Hill. Starting Hometown Signs felt like the natural next step. Not a franchise. Not someone else's brand. Just a local business built on real experience and a genuine connection to the community.

Every project carries the name Hometown Signs because that's exactly what this is. A hometown business, run by people who grew up in Rock Hill and are proud to help local businesses stand out.

The Road to Hometown Signs

Meet The Owner

DREW

Drew takes signs seriously. He's spent his career learning every part of the craft, from design down to materials and production, because doing it right matters to him. But ask him what he actually loves about the business, and it's the people. The regulars who call him before anyone else. The new client who becomes a friend halfway through the first conversation. Great work and real relationships aren't separate things to Drew. They go hand in hand.

That's how he's always done it. He'd rather sit down, hear what you're actually trying to do, and build a plan together, rather than just push you toward whatever's easiest to sell. If something's not in his wheelhouse, he'll tell you straight up and point you to someone who can help. He'd rather lose a sale than lose your trust, and that's not a sales line, it's just how he operates.

He grew up in Rock Hill, studied graphic design at USC, and came back to his hometown. Home is where the heart is, and his has always been Rock Hill. Fifteen years in the sign business sharpened that design background even further and taught him materials, production, and how to actually solve a problem instead of just filling an order. There's still nothing like driving past something he built and knowing it's holding up exactly the way he planned.

Drew lives by his own motto, Have More Fun, and that's exactly what he and his wife, Lindsay, try to do every day, fur babies included. You'll usually find him on a golf course, at a concert, or standing over a smoker babysitting a brisket. He's coached YMCA basketball and Little League over the years and has spent more than a decade as a Come-See-Me team leader, because showing up for this community has always mattered to him just as much as showing up for his clients.

Meet The Operations Manager

sUSAN

Susan and Drew have been friends since the 90s. Camp Cherokee is where it started, back when they were just kids spending their summers there, and somehow that friendship has outlasted every move either of them made since. Susan grew up in Rock Hill, spent time living away, and came back home for good in 2017. She'll tell you it wasn't a hard decision. This is just right where she wanted to be.

These days she's the one keeping Hometown Signs running behind the scenes, timelines, paperwork, all the details that make a small business actually work. When Drew is out on a job site, Susan is usually the one you'll hear from, and she'll treat your project like it matters, because to her, it does.

When she's not working, she's probably planning her next trip, enjoying a Broadway production, watching a football game on a Saturday, or spoiling her adorable nephews. She's glad to be in her hometown, and it shows.
